Customer reviewsExcept for a chipped wooden leg, it s a nice little table
This is a well-made, sturdy table with a distressed, semi-gloss top see photo . I knew that the table was supposed to be rustic, but I didn t realize that it was going to be quite as distressed as it is. However, I realize that a lot of folks really like the distressed look now-a-days. I would have given the table a 5 except for the fact that it arrived slightly damaged. When my husband lifted the last leg out of the box, he noticed that the top of the leg was chipped see photo . We were hoping that it wouldn t be noticeable, but after he screwed in the leg bolts, we could easily see the blemish. Fortunately, the chipped piece of wood was inside the box and he was able to glue it back on to the top of the leg. It s not perfect, but at least the blemish no longer stands out like a sore thumb. My husband said this particular leg with the chipped wood at the top was at the very outside of the heavy-duty cardboard box that the table was shipped in. He thinks the box must have been dropped on that particular corner causing the wood to chip. Other than the chipped wood that we had to glue back on to one leg, we re very pleased with this table.
