Excellent All Wood Table No Particle BoardFirst of all, the packing was unbelievably good. A large outer box surrounded the inner box with blown-in foam all in-between. It took longer to get it out of the packaging than it did to fasten the four legs to the table. But one thing for sure, it will survive the shipping process. I was trying to be cautious when tightening the bolts to the Pem nut inserts in the legs, but on one leg, I heard the dreaded pop sound. But even though the Pem nut lost some anchoring, it still managed to hold reasonably tight. The table surface is somewhat of a butcher block design. The table top is not as polished as implicated in the photograph, but still smooth. There was a thin layer of oil and dirt that easily wiped off. I put some furniture polish on afterwards.
